2010 Chevy Camaro SS Super Charge

Thank you H&K Motors, Continental OH for bringing the Camaro out for our Hole-In-One. Unfortunatly, no one won the car this year.
And thank you to the Lauf brothers & sisters and their families that donated the money for the Hole-In-One.

Thank you to all of the family and friends that volunteered again this year. We wouldn't have been able to do the outing with out all the support you give us. We had quite a few people helping in alot of ways, poker hand, Hole-In-One, set up, selling tickets and helping get all the prizes together for the day.

Even though it was a HOT day, I hope everyone had fun.

Not everyone helped out that day alone, thanks to my girls for helping cut up 488 books of raffle tickets over the last 2 months. PLUS.......I found out during the outing Mady, Kay and Kiana had their own little business going. Charging the golfers a "toll" to cross the bridge...all money earned went to buying candy for the day. Go girls!!!

Less than a week!!!

We're down to the last week before the outing, keep an eye on the weather & say a prayer for a beautiful day.  Mady, I hope your ready to tee off to start the outing again this year.

As of today, we have a Dinner Sponsor, 30 hole sponsors and 18 teams!!!  Great job everyone!!  Please bring all your tickets to the outing, we will be selling the remaining tickets all day along with the 50/50 tickets!  Good luck Old Man, I think you bought the most yourself.  I know, I had to fill them all out. 

Talked to Joe tonight and his wonderful wife has offered her services this year to get me team pics.  I try every year to get everyone but never get them all.  This year we're just going to have them taken after we sign the teams up.  Thank you, Stacy at Elling Photography!!!!

WOW!!!!!  Thank you Uncle Gene for talking to Central Soya, I recieved a check from them for $250.00 today.  They sponsored a hole and the dinner this year at the outing.

Meeting at the course

We're down to the last two weeks before the outing so we had our final meeting with the course last night. Will, Joe and myself went over to iron out the last details of the outing and Greg gave us some new ideas. 

Prize at the Beginning of the round - Prior to starting the outing, we will be having a drawing for a prize this year.  Any one that has a team will need to email me all the names for the team prior to the 24th, we will still add names on that day but would like to get as many done ahead of time as we can.

Volunteers - I will also need 6-8 volunteers for the day to arrive at 1130am, to help with sign up, ticket sales and any other misc. things we need to do.  John will also need 4 volunteers for the poker hand we had last year.  If you can volunteer email me so I know we have enough people.  Peggy and Amber have already told me they would help during the outing.

Dinner tickets - anyone not playing golf will have to purchase a $10.00 dinner ticket for the meal, volunteers and kids under 12 will eat for free.  Last year we had to purchase $200.00 worth of meals for non golfers when we could have given the money to our cause.


Teams and hole sponsors - As of yesterday, we have 17 teams that have contacted us and 20 hole sponsors.  If anyone has more please let me know.

Rain date - I'm working with Greg to get a rain date in case we have to cancel, but like every other year, I'm sure Mindy will watch over the day and we won't need it.

501 C3 charity - We have decided to set up a public charity in Mindy's name this year to help us in the future when raising money. At this time and we didn't know this we do not have an insurance policy in the outings name leaving Will and myself liable for any accidents. In the future, we want to make sure we have all of this covered. Joe, Stacy, Will and myself will be in charge of the charity, if you have any suggestions on how to raise money or new ideas on where we should donate the money too, please let one of us know.
